About The Artwork

A collective grief envelops the whole world, the like of which hasn't been seen in generations, a reminder of our fragility and subjugation to the script of a more expansive play of fate. Humanity has been besieged by a huge non prejudiced monster ravaging across the globe at unfathomable speed. A tamable monster, yet it slips from our grip because of our ignorance and failure to grasp its efficacy, or perhaps an agenda to behold the desolation of beloved humanity by enemies of mankind. For a couple of weeks now, i decided to take a spectator's seat and behold the theater of this global drama where I am casted as a dot. I am a dot of seeming insignificance in a kaleidoscopic mishmash of multiracial, multi-dimensional soup of homo-sapien, but I have risen to project out my nuanced perspective of our prevailing circumstance. We, the true artists are the guardians of truth and the custodian of the story of mankind. This moment presents a unique opportunity to be a voice that reverberates through time, narrating a witness's account of the sharp vicissitude of life on earth at this point in history. In the light of this, I embarked on an on-going series of works called 2020, to reveal, while also riding the wave, the attendant stories, of isolation, love, resilience, charity, unity, hope, greed, avarice, hate, racism, disunity, ignorance, folly, Trump, George Floyd, black life matters, .........

Born 18th March 1971 in Benin city, Nigeria. I m married with 2 great kids and another one is on the way, hopefuly the last. Art is my calling in life and its what i do best. Ever since i was aware of myself,i always loved anything artistic and and i indulged myself in them, even though i really wasn't hoping to become a professional artist. Anyway, after a long sojourn in the science world,i finally became a professional artist and i m enjoying every moment of it.i try to embbed deep messages in my works in terms of metaphors and innuendosI ve actually realized that my pool of inspiration cannot be defined with a boundary, because i am constantly changing my perspective and i try to find the most suitable way to express my artistic opinion. And since i m primarily an experimental artist, i really can't say my restless spirit will be comfortable with working in a certain technique for very long. However, the most important thing about my work is that i believe God has a divine presence in it.
