Es la puerta a mi serie "Pentimentos". Parte del proceso era hacer dibujos de cuerpos enredados y luego pintar encima ocultando gran parte del dibujo. En este caso el dibujo se veía tan logrado que sería una perdida pintar encima; Por eso se realiza una serie de artimañas para que el dibujo tenga características de una pintura, como tener profundidad y color. En este cuadro resalta un dibujo que reúne las expectativas de una pintura. It is the door to my "Pentimentos" series. Part of the process was drawing pictures of tangled bodies and then painting over them hiding much of the drawing. In this case the drawing looked so accomplished that it would be a waste to paint over it; That is why a series of tricks is made so that the drawing has the characteristics of a painting, such as having depth and color. This picture highlights a drawing that meets the expectations of a painting.

José Aguirre was born on June 19, 1956 in Montevideo, Uruguay. Was a disciple of Pepe Montes who in turn was a disciple of Torres García, the creator of Constructive Universalism, today is considered a great exponent of this current. Constructivism proposes a harmonic system to add symbols that dictate a universal language.
