About The Artwork
Themes of femininity and beauty dominates this bold, colourful diptych representing two women engaged in a silent conversation. I'm very inspired in my work by fashion editorials and magazine pictures where everything is so theatrical — the clothes, the styling, the poses... how bodies and clothes tell a story, like in this painting. This canvas was painted in my atelier in Paris. The delicate texture of the canvas enhance the brightness of acryl and acryla gouache paint, that I kept unvarnished.
