I've been exploring the use of acrylic paint on paper with brushes, palette knife, sponges, even a silicone basting tool! This one just became a great excuse to be adventurous with wonderful tropical colours as well as unusual ways for me to apply them. The lady who is the subject looks a bit thoughtful. I don't really know what's in her mind. She's all dressed up, so is she waiting for someone? I'll let you invent your own back story. This was painted on A3 250gsm paper, so it has a wide border for you to choose the proportions when framing.

Recently I found my own style with my series of Scottish landscapes, but I continue to experiment with my Lockdown-inspired images and have lately produced my series of Painted Ladies.
