This painting was inspired by the Colorado River and how the water is a trickle at best when it reaches the Sea of Cortez in Mexico. It is meant to call attention to this endangered river and ways the water is used. The view is from overhead with a panorama view of the land in orange tones and river in blues as it meets the sea. The painting is a original painting on deep canvas with painted sides so that it does not need a frame. The back has heavy hardware and wire for hanging.
