What a complicated world. I remember looking at parents with fear and loathing, distain for the fullness of their days; their need for rules and regulations. The sharp clear cut, in or out, left or right, right or wrong. How do we find ourselves there? We are at sea; a tribe of pirates with no church. Like my paintings “Rules and Regulations or my ‘War”; here I too am playing their game. (when they are gone with their father and I am painting and analyzing my parenting) where should we be? What should we teach? How should we lie?
