Almost every 'fisherman' imagines that they will be able to fore fill their private dreams and catch a wonderous prize - whatever the hazardous seas may look like. I am hoping the viewer may look at the picture and probably imagine themselves doing just that but with a kinder sea! The medium that I chose was a favorite of mine , pen/ink/gouache. The art board that the painting sits on is smooth enough yet firm enough for the pen work and the color to happily reside. The size given is of the actual painting, although when purchased I give the picture a generous mount of six inches surrounding the whole picture . The price quoted is of picture with its mount, unframed, but if wanted framing then I would ask what type/color etc - it would be better to choose the frame when you have picture in your own home as then you could choose style to suit you and your home. Bear in mind that the cost of sending to you would be higher due to weight.

Ireland
English born now living and working in Southern Ireland, West Cork - near the Mizen [ furthest southern point in Ireland ] When I lived and worked in England [in the sixties and seventies] I had a studio called 'Timsbury Vale Studios' with a business involving silk screening, one particular design caught the eye of the Financial Times newspaper who wrote a glowing report on my work which in turn opened up an opportunity to print designs for the Royal Navy and Army. My original artwork continued to run alongside the silk screening but when I moved to Ireland I sold the silk screening business to concentrate solely on my present work. my studio now in Ireland is situated close by my home making it really easy to get to work also convienient if anyone wishes to visit at 'odd hours' ... if I am there, I am open and people are always welcome to visit and look at my work.
