About The Artwork
One of the positive side's of recent times, is people having the opportunity to take time to stop, appreciate and to become entwined with the mysteries and beauty of our natural world. I aimed for this work to capture the feeling of treasuring time alone and being at one with nature. I have built up loose light water colour glazes into textures and used a pen and ink in places to add detail that contrasts with the free brushwork. This work is painted with Winsor and Newton professional water colour paints on Sanders best water colour paper.
