About The Artwork

The Renaissance as a topic could not be more current. The painting Fibonacci, as the next piece of my Renaissance series (VIII,) takes a step on the path of rediscovery. Thirst for the ideal of beauty that was an ideal in its day, not merely as an index of liking, but after the discovery that man had come across and formulated the mathematical system that builds many wonders of nature. The golden ratio. Golden ratio is a proportionality that often appears in nature and art, creating a natural balance between symmetry and asymmetry. Two parts (a and b, a>b) are proportional to each other according to the golden cut if the whole (a+b) is proportional to the larger part (a) as the larger part (a) to the smaller part (b): Equivalent to the above is the wording that the larger part is proportional to the smaller part as the smaller part to the difference between the two parts: Leonardo Fibonacci (Pisa, c. 1170 – ca. 1250) is an Italian mathematician. published by the painting can be found as code marks. At the same time, as a visual element in the golden snail thread, the symbol of the golden ratio appears. The line of the woman's shoulder leads the viewer back to the clear-eyed face, in which the flame of knowledge burns. At the same time, the image also contains an additional golden teaching, philosophy, from one of Fibonacci's favourite philosophers, Hiosi Tatios, and sends the following message to the man of today: "You are the power that brings to life what is happening - the good, the bad. It's up to you which you consider worthy: by thinking rightly, you summon luck, or you act without thinking, and you throw troubles at your life. It's up to you whether you're going to live your days or paint the world black around you." – Tatios kr. e: 350
