"I try to thank the sea. Thank the sea for being my teacher. And so I fish. Most days I go to its shores to fish for rubbish. Plastic caps, styrofoam icebergs, cigarette stubs, plastic bottles, bits of toys, straws and fishing line. I find lonely shoes and single lens glasses, boat parts and plastic 'pebbles'. I try my best to pick up what the winter storms have spat out. I try to give thanks to the sea for teaching me how to breath, listen, smel l and see with such intent and delight. Living by the water faces you with the fragile reality of our natural world and inspires you to cherish it." A climate concerned and sea inspired painting done in acrylics on high quality canvas with a UV protective varnish. Framing is not necessary as the painting continues along edges. Artwork is signed on the front and back of painting.

"Oh how I love remembering with paint! Through my work I explore our emotional connection to the spaces that surround us, creating vibrant celebrations. I hope to inspire others to delight in and cherish our home.” Kelly Allison's artistic inclination flourished during her design and architectural studies in Canada, the UK and Sweden. Originally from Vancouver, Canada she has been living abroad for many years, continues to travel extensively and today lives on the island of Corsica. This diverse cultural exposure has shaped her perception of people and their emotional connection with their environments. Using acrylics & inks as mediums, and nature's curves to tell the story, the result lies somewhere between figurative and abstract. She draws inspiration from her travel observations, contemporary thinking and her own photography. Kelly sells her original works worldwide.
