These grapes were hand picked in Durbanville, "altydgedacht" vineyard by the artist. Painted on belgian linen, with artist quality oil paint. It is part of a series of grape paintings done by the artist - it's sister painting of green "hanepoot" grapes was sold before this painting was completed. Regarding shipping: To be sent in a tube to save on shipping costs, in which case it will need to be re-stretched on a stretcher frame on arrival.
