About The Artwork
I enjoy experimenting with closely related swatches of color, arranged geometrically to tease the eye. The image includes a couple of colored pieces that have either fallen off the large group, or are trying to get onto it. I started painting it in acrylic in 2014, and recently added oil paint as I like the surface and the subtlety it brings. I'm always inspired by the impressionist painters, and this one, particularly makes me think of Paul Klee.
