About The Artwork
This was the first painting I made for the "Flower Power" series. This is a special piece that results in a pair; I do two different paintings on the same theme. Then I cut the two paintings into slices and place one half next to the other. At the same time I move them up and down. I kept this "half" for myself, the other I gave as a birthday present to Joana. If too many things pull us down, everything else drags us upwards.
