About The Artwork
The is the newest piece in a series looking at the human senses acting as a filter on our chaotic environment. So much of the natural forces that surround us are imperceptible due to the way our senses have evolved. The idea is that the 'fracture' forms in the foreground show a simplified view of the chaotic realm behind. This painting on paper places an arrangement of prismic forms atop an ethereal 'sky' background. The disarray of the first layer is pixelated and ordered with opaque triangular forms and lines mimicking how we sense our environment. Created in Valencia Spain this year.
