Fragment of a Rainbow Dream Painting

This piece pertains to a surrealistic moment, often when half asleep, just waking up from slumber and there is that fuzzy image, but cannot actually put the picture in place. There is that lofty or wistful feeling, but not sure of the mood that is lukewarm, setting up the day from whatever preceded it. Sometimes, the lingering vision returns later on, then makes you realise that whatever it was, is just a fragment of your dream and the dream is whatever it is. The actual mixed media painting is done on a fine weave gallery wrapped stretched canvas, which measures 50cm X 50cm X 1.8cm. It is purposely signed on the back, together with the other details as not to interfere with the viewing. The work looks entire as it is, with all four sides painted neatly in an ultramarine blue, giving it a modern look, which does not require framing.
