Through our image, fragments of our authenticity can be seen. It is shown as light amidst the shadows. Authenticity acts as a beacon that dissipates doubts and allows us to be who we are, leading us to a better understanding of ourselves. This work is part of the series "Mirrors of the Unconscious," which aims to provoke a reflection on our unconscious in an inadvertent way to reconstruct the identity of individuals who, due to social circumstances or traumas, could not fully develop it. In these works, I portray this process through abstract and unfinished elements, suggesting an inner light. By observing them and unconsciously attempting to reconstruct the incomplete parts, we are, analogously, contributing to recompose that part of the identity that has been affected by such social circumstances.

I was born and raised in Málaga, on the Costa del Sol, a metropolis in the South of Spain. My relationship with art began as far back as I can remember, exploring colors and forms. From my earliest strokes in local workshops to conversations with relevant artists who have illuminated my path, my education has been a mixture of self-taught learning and collaboration with recognized contemporary artists. Each experience has enriched my practice. All of this, mixed with a tumultuous life for most of my years, has now led to a stage of rebirth and catharsis that has allowed me to integrate experiences and sublimate them into my works, with significant social, psychosocial, emotional, universal, and archetypal content. Sometimes, with an urban touch that breaks conventional patterns. I approach art in a transversal manner, blending the real and the abstract with versatility in techniques and disciplines.
