About The Artwork

Vibrancy is needed where there isn't any (seemingly). I had to find something that would determine how I am feeling and what I can control. I can't change all things that are negative at once and by myself. However, I can change my mindset. That is what I've done here. I hope the viewer will have a sense of feeling light pouring into the dark crevices that can permeate and take up residence in their spirit or even in a room. Planting seeds for regenerating and growing new life is crucial. The materials used are simplistic on this canvas. Gesso is used to prime and adds a bit of texture prior to painting with Liquitex and Golden brand acrylic paints. I've used charcoal and #2 pencil mark-making is evident, and finally, the piece is finished with gloss varnish by Liquitex. Please feel free to contact a Saatchi Art curator for additional help. I'd love to be able to facilitate your interior wall decor needs. Thank you for taking the time to drop by my page. I hope you'll stop by again to view more of my artwork. Gina Battle Artist

Shipping & Returns

I am an abstract expressionist artist. I paint from raw emotion and release every ounce of my spirit into my creative endeavors. I studied Theater Arts and Design in New York. Painting is a medium that came to me later in my life. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to express myself through abstraction. It's a delicious treat... sometimes decadent. I love the challenges that are presented as I contemplate new ideas, implement my thoughts and watch them become a reality. in addition, I love listening to guests who visit my studio and purchase my art. Thanks to my clients and collectors - both national and international I was able to fundraise for the Charlotte Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County (Florida). It was wonderful to be able to dance and paint for such a great cause and to celebrate the arts community through scholarships for students.
