About The Artwork
This work comes from a deep emotion. The human body (and probably every 'body') is working without one noticing it. But once you feel pain, whether it is physical or mental, you feel a connection that is mostly lost in everyday life. I started with the connecting cells or veins or rivers, however you may call them. You can find these structures in quite large constructions (walls, roads or even the skin) and you find them under an microscope. The second layer are thick ink drops and a big splash of red color. The penetrating red is connected to blood. But it could mean something completly different, such as a chance, a way out or just a thought. A thought, that can help you out. Thats why i named the piece Gedanke, wich is german for thought.
