About The Artwork
This piece, like many of my others, is an imagined narrative of people and places that inspire me. These are the places I escape to in my imagination. I am attempting to bring about a certain feeling. This place... is a place of wonder, peace and connection. The place you finally catch your breath. The sun is shinning and the early morning fog is lifting. This little village view could exist from the top of a mountain, at the end of your street or from the high coastal cliffs in some far off place. I guess its different for all of us. I don't know where this place is exactly for you... But for me, it's a place I like to visit often. If Grace had a place, I believe this is where she would live.
