Grey man with flesh malfunction. Painting

This image was made by the artist shortly after returning to the UK from a month long stay in Tokyo. The figure pictured was spotted amongst a clustering of tentacle vendors near Shinjuku station known as Piss Alley. Because of the piss. Incase that wasn't clear. A local offal boiler told me the man is well known by frequent diners there for his monthly visits to a fry-shack that specialises in octopus bollocks and crispy fish tits. The owner happily removes the 'flesh malfunction' with a big spoon which is then sliced, fried, salted and served up to starving salary men before their train journeys home. Though it may seem strange to us, the slices are considered a delicacy in Japan and apparently taste similar to the dreams of a majestic mountain puma. Made in acrylic and emulsion on canvas in 2011, the original painting of the aforementioned print was created whilst the artist was based in a studio once a skin-processing factory in the Caldmore area of Walsall in the West Midlands. A former red light district, Caldmore is now locally known for its abundance of flesh-dragging mutant-pussbag slug-puffer gravel-sucking creature-blobs and near nightly riots fought viciously between various and multitude escaped fast food scraps in its short but charming-if-you-are-lacking-eyeballs high street. Also worthy of mention and a known rich source of inspiration to Carp is the nearby Church of St. Plorp atop a hill of medieval crisps which overlooks the town and where after a long days painting the artist often attended midnight shoe burnings and services involving the offering of sacrificial ham to a broken telly reputed to cry milk every time somebody bought a packet of value sausages from Poundland, though in a purely observational role it is important to note. Carp Matthew is now based in London, though bares the scars of said time via his art and disturbingly frequent references to ham. This painting is made on a 100x80cm canvas, is unframed and does not include fixtures for hanging.
