Heart Painting

This is a round canvas of a 100cm diameter circle. The celestial light in pink color penetrates from the back and transforms into the heart wheel, which emanates it into green color on the front. I was hearing the word "heart" the whole time during its creation. The fine net is hand-painted. The fractal-like texture shows motion and evenly colored hues in transitions. The picture represents an interaction between color and light on the two-dimensional canvas. This effect is caused by the combination between leaf metal and paint. The color is painted on the leaf metal in a fine fractal net. In the interstices, the leaf metals are prominent and allow the reflection of the light in the color spectrum. The unfolding of the color spectrum is dependent both on the properties and the intensity of the light as well as on the movement of the viewers. For this reason, the artworks have a dynamic and constantly changing appearance.
