The candle represents a leader whose light has a hope/dream so that we can preserve or at least remember and reacquaint ourselves with something that we often used in the past but has now been lost due to the passage of time. Something traditional. This painting invites us to look back, remember or become acquainted with what was in the past. In fact, they are a legacy from generations before us. Indonesia's forgotten cultural heritage. The objects that appear around the candle are objects that we (or at least in my environment) often used in the past. These include marbles which are a popular childhood toy and several objects made from woven bamboo which Sundanese people use every day for various purposes.
