About The Artwork
In this difficult 2020, marked by storms and pandemics, democracies are increasingly being misused by autocrats to expand their powers. I want to record this development artistically. It is to be illustrated using the example of the powerful of this world. In the picture "I am the greatest" there are deep wounds in the area around the figure of the "greatest", represented by burned-in tracing paper collages. The picture is painted on a heavy canvas and several layers of transparent paper in acrylic mixed technique and scorched with a special burning technique. At the bottom is a collaged US banner. The picture is signed on the front with my logo and the year of completion in Roman numerals. On the back the original signature and the complete address data. The picture is on a high quality, 4 cm thick stretcher. There are hangers in the back inside corners. Transport and hanging are no problem.

From 2009 on, turning to outdoor / landart projects with art trails and (peace) installations. Start of the project "PORTA ALPINAE Open the door to another world". A wooden gate symbolizes the transition to another world. 30 installations on German, Austrian, Swiss and Italian mountains generate great media interest. Several documentaries in large TV formats and international press reports. Always accompanying the painting, drawings and objects.
