About The Artwork

This is a small collage work created of many layers of transparent Chinese silk paper. I painted with high quality acrylic colors, oil colors, ink, acrylic pigment and watercolour on the paper and applied this then onto the MDF-board. I worked on MDF-board, there is a hook integrated on the back of the board so that the work is ready to hang. I worked with ink, watercolour, graphite, oil and wax on paper fixed on a MDF board. 40 x 30 x 3 cm / 15.7 x 11.8 x 1.2 in The weight of the artwork is 2,6 kg/ 5.73 pounds. The representation of the artwork in a domestic setting may not be exactly to scale. Customers outside of the European Union: Possible import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the price for the artwork or shipping cost. These fees are customer’s responsibility.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

ARTIST STATEMENT: Life is a largely subjective experience; but that subjective experience is my bridge to the objective world. And it’s this synthesis of the two that I am trying to capture. INSPIRATION AND PROCESS: I love experimenting and want to give my works an individual expression. I have two lines of work: I love painting almost (but not quite) realistic, somewhat utopian, nature images and on the other hand I really enjoy doing non-objective/abstract art. I am inspired by the beauty and power of natural phenomena, the mystery of nature, its colors and forms. Every painting is a one-of-a-kind work in which I try to combine feeling and thought. I work most of the time with acrylics but I also mix acrylics with other media such as oil pastel, soft pastel, spray paint, graphite and charcoal or ink. All materials I use, if canvas, paper or paints are of artist quality.
