Wilson’s art ranges from technical portraiture – where the likeness and accuracy are breath-taking – to more free and abstract artworks. Working mainly with acrylic she creates pieces considering relationships and connection. Always seeking her ideal interpretation rather than a perfect realism, Wilson enjoys 'imperfections' or slightly 'off' details in her finished pieces. She finds it's often these characteristics that engage, that invite the viewer's own interpretation and relationship with a painting.
