About The Artwork

K - dandelion : taekwondo #16 One day when I was a kid, my mother made my brother learn Taekwondo, and she said to me, “You are a girl. You don’t need to learn Taekwondo.” I think that's one of the things that awakened one of my many rebellious spirits. I followed my brother's taekwondo studio and imitated the kick from behind. The teacher called my mom and told her that I was good at kicking, too. So I learned taekwondo a little bit, because I'm the only girl in my class who can do taekwondo, so I used it to protect girls and myself from bad boys who sometimes bully us. I think I learned usefulness about useless things there. Sometimes Art is rearrangement of memories occasionally swirling around and the processes of one's life wisdom permeates in art.
