About The Artwork
Acrylic and marker on rough 110 gsm Fabriano paper. As with many of my works on paper this painting has a worn appearance in areas due to being heavily worked and washed. Tears and perforations are common and form an integral part of the general aesthetic of my pieces. I tend to patch them over on the reverse side of the painting using tape, paper or ribbon. This piece is set in an ultra-modern, bespoke, plexiglass box frame. Handmade in Italy, the plexiglass filters damaging UV rays, and allows light to spill in evenly from all sides. Initialled and dated on the front. Signed, titled, dated and stamped on the reverse. However due to framing this is not visible.
