LEAVES AND THE TREE Painting

As a child, I wondered how tree leaves come from the tree branches. I sat beside the trees, trying to catch the magic, yet never succeeded. I thought I had to be near the trees to see the magic. So, I took home a few wild ones from my father's paddy field and planted them on a flat tray. I went to the trees, talked to them, and watched them closely every morning and night. They grew taller and taller every day, but I couldn't see the magic. But after a few months, I found the trees come to life, and bright green leaves magically appear out of nowhere.    And somewhere along the way, I stopped thinking about how the tree leaves came from the branches and started treating them like the forest, arranging them at a distance using steel wires so they could grow freely, strengthening the root, and placing sandstones for support and wet green mosh as grass. I told the trees you are not alone, and you have these stone friends around you till I come. I felt like I lived inside a mini arboretum. Later, I discovered a tree art in Japan called Bonsai, like what I used to do as a child.    I learned a lot about life working with trees. Like them, we need space to grow and love, care, and a little guidance to flourish and bring about a bright change. Every second, we change, but no one can see it, like how it is impossible to see the leaves come about from the branches. More ironically, leaves don't always remain soft, bright, and shiny, and they also turn dry and die, like you and me.
