life is but a dream Painting

I created this piece of artwork in winter. In the midst of cold and silence, I could hear birds chirping, stream burbling, and branches swaying side to side in between uncompromising brush strokes. I could listen to the water ripples as it rushes, leaving past embedded pebbles and huge rocks. I wanted to bring it all onto my canvas. The colors of nature inspire me to bring such vibrant strokes into my artwork. The ability to admire beauty is possessed by few but if you're reading this description you're one of the blessed nature lovers, for sure :). I chose 12 by 16 inches canvas to create the scenic beauty. Dominated by a green color palette, I gave subtle neutral tones in water for plants glaring underneath and rocky ground. Water also reflects the turquoise and bright blue tones of the sky above. This painting is not going to be anything less than a fresh breath of air for its surroundings.
