Looking for Blueberries Painting

"I come from a land of blueberries. Though I’d never picked them before. I’d never seen wild blueberries, but blueberry farms near a place called Tsawwassen. I had never thought to ask what that meant; A First Nation’s territory meaning ‘Land Facing the Sea’. Now, anticipating goodbye after 3 months in Europe’s North, over the Arctic circle and back down. Goodbye to those crisp contours and abundance of nature. Goodbye to those soothing mornings alone, picking wild blueberries. Walking, foraging, tasting; Every morning, a new hunt, another moment of stillness. Kneeling on that dewy soil, wrapped in layers, trying to fend off the Arctic air, I felt so free, so wild, and so connected to the 'Land Facing the Sea.'" Acrylic and oil pastel on recomposed, high quality canvas with a UV protective varnish finish. Framing isn't necessary as the painting continues along the edges. Artwork is signed on the front and back of painting.
