An absolutely beautiful oil painting of Spock. Leonard Nimoy was more than an actor, he became the legendary Vulcan in millions of hearts world wide. This painting was created only a few weeks after Leonard's tragic passing. To achieve this finish, Lee used a slightly unusual canvas type, one with a higher plastic content which makes it super smooth but a little elastic and therefore not drum tight on the frame. It does however provide this amazing finish. From any distance, this painting is a beautiful and a masterpiece. There is one are of canvas that was folded over about a half millimeter and runs about a foot on the right side shoulder. Lee painted over part of it, as it stretches into the white area.
