About The Artwork
The influence is purely a personal thought. I love the multi layered back ground and is finished off with the white free swirls using a pig haired brush. The movement in the white swirls is an expression of freedom. To top it all off my darling wife Lu Lu said it was delightful. Hence the name. Who am I to argue with the love of my life, that shares my roof and feeds me so well. This is now one of my favorite abstract styles. This painting is 122 cm wide and 91 cm high. It is finished in a gloss varnish that enhances the color and protects the paint. On the back is a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity. It is wired ready to hang and has felt cushion to protect your walls. This painting will be shipped in a crate for your protection.

Patrick has lived on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia for over 60 years. His work reflects parts of his life with a bold and vibrant colour palette. His introductory works were mainly contemporary in nature, consisting of lively acrylics on a wildly textured plaster bases. The assortment of bases gives Patrick’s work depth, while the bulk and shadow lines bolster the pieces character. As Patrick’s work is evolutionary his latest style remains contemporary abstract. He uses various mediums and acrylics in fluid states to produce a mixture of abstract colours and shapes. Most of Patrick’s inspiration comes from the everyday world around him. He enjoys the challenge of mastering different techniques. Patrick has had many exhibitions, either solo or combined with other artists. He has won acclaim and awards for his abstract imagination. His work is displayed in galleries on the Central Coast and in private collections. .
