This multi media painting is the first one in the series of "The Light At the End Of The Tunnel" Even in the darkest moments, there's always a glimmer of hope guiding our way towards brighter tomorrows and I tried to portray this concept in this series. One of a kind colourful abstract painting using loads of textures. Suitable for contemporary interiors with modern furnishing. I was born in Turkey and have been leaving in England since 1989. I am currently working as a Design and Technology teacher and my specialism is Fashion and Textiles. I have started to paint simply for pleasure to decorate my house and very rapidly my work generated a great deal of interest. However, despite all the encouragement from my family and friends, I was lacking in confidence so I joined to a local art school. I attended evening classes in Cheltenham Fine Art School for three years. Abstract is the perfect style to dance the colours expressively and I love to make them work in harmony or fight for attention, therefore it is my favorite style. Painting relaxes me after a busy and stressful day in school. I get inspiration from various sources; one day it might be an emotion, another day it might be tulips in my garden. Sometimes I start a painting with nothing in mind and see where the colours would take me. As a creative visual person, colours play important role in my life; certain colours make me happy whatever the mood I am in. Shades of purple and turquoise are my favourites. I mainly work with acrylic medium and experiment with different mediums for texture. And my mission is injecting happy colours into peoples lives.
