About The Artwork
Hello everyone this is 14inX14in painting on watercolour paper. This is combination patinting. I created this painting by using watercolour and pastels. I tried to give Victorian art style to this painting. Madhubani Art (or Mithila painting) is a style of Indian painting, practiced in the Mithila region of the Indian subcontinent. This painting is done with a variety of tools, including fingers, twigs, brushes, nib-pens, and matchsticks and using natural dyes and pigments. The Lotus flower is regarded in many different cultures, especially in eastern religions, as a symbol of purity, enlightenment, self-regeneration and rebirth. I tried to show here floating Lotus. I used for this schmincke watercolour, Danial smith watercolour and sennelier pastels. I used brushes, nib, micro pen, dr ph Martin ink. And acrylic ink. I hope you like this vintage painting.
