Mediascape Study Composition Painting

Moniek Voulon lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. After my work as a graphic designer I started painting in 1990. In 1994 I had my first soloshow in Amsterdam, at Galerie De Verdieping. In 1995 I became a member of Art-association Arti et Amicitiae in Amsterdam. Received in 1998 a basic stipendium for two years from the Foundation for Visual Arts, Design and Architecture (Fonds voor Beeldende Kunsten, Vormgeving en Bouwkunst) in Amsterdam. Made several solo-exhibitions from 1994 (see my CV on www.moniekvoulon.com) in Amsterdam and in 2001 two solo's in Rome at Gallery Monogramma (article and photograph in Italian newspaper) and at the Business Centre Parco di Medici. Organised and curated/participated from 2003/2006 three major international groupexhibitions, in Amsterdam, in 2004 in New York.
