About The Artwork

A minimalist rendition inspired by the feeling of summertime in the Santa Fe Railyard Arts District. The color palette is representative of both desert and industrial settings. The minimalist, light- handed technique and rich desert color palette, creates an elegant, modern and industrial aesthetic. I hope to inspire others to seek culture, arts, music, great food, joyful exchanges, and a deep appreciation for the better side of life.

Bio American abstract painter and multidisciplinary artist, Chandon Banning, was born in Los Angeles, California, where she developed her artistic career. Currently, she enjoys a creative and contemplative lifestyle in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Chandon primarily uses oil paint and, more recently, encaustics to create large-scale abstract paintings. Her 30-year career in the arts necessitated extensive self-training in fine art, scenic art, architectural finishes, photography, and interior styling. Industry leaders in Los Angeles’ entertainment, fine art, and design industries have praised and sought after her specialized abilities and artistic creations. Chandon recently, successfully exhibited in Santa Fe’s much anticipated annual “Turquoise Trail Studio Tour,” acquiring new collectors both locally and nationwide. Notable Fine Art Works: Six-foot sculptural re-imagining of the ‘Hollywood Bowl’s Frank Gehry Spheres’; Six- foot by Eight- foot wall sculpture featured on Larry David’s ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm”; Various photos and paintings provided to Warner Brothers Studios Art Dept.
