Misty pathway Painting

This is the place where I want to take myself every time I feel low and out of place. I want to hang on to all those memories which were once a vital part of my life. This painting reminds me of all the adventures I had with my friends as a teenager. Of course, anyone can connect with it in any way they like. For me, this painting brings back cherishable memories of camping, trekking, narrating spooky tales, and having endless walks on uneven trails. I find myself taking it all in; the sharp, sweet, and invigorating scent of pines, scenic views, and silent trails. It's amusing how these associations do not let the moments die and help us remember the best of ourselves. Dominated by grey and greens, the pathway represents the importance of taking it slow and steady with necessary pauses and deep breaths along the way. The color palette comprises greys, greens, and yellow ochre. I chose a 16” by 14” canvas to paint the view. “Pathway” is my favorite part of the painting.
