Misty Pines Painting

There is so much to look at and study when it comes to painting nature. “Misty pines” has been one of those journeys. I didn’t follow any defined process to paint Misty pines, which in a way helped in figuring out new techniques for bringing the real feel to the canvas. The piece came together through layering and mixing foggy, green, and earthy tones. Like always, I find it magical to paint trees of all sorts. The real challenge is to create depth and connection with the serene beauty. I hope I was able to achieve that. As the goal is to create a work of Art that either brings back beautiful memories or create a pure feeling of connection. The artwork is painted with acrylics and varnished in gloss, giving a fine finish to the final product. It is now framed in brown Mahogany and readily available for shipping.
