About The Artwork

An American motel in the 50s. A woman smokes a cigarette outside before going to one of the rooms. The sun sets after a long, hot summer's day. All my artworks are inspired by weathered walls with posters, peeling paint and all sorts of things in decline. I try to create something new, something beautiful with these elements. This specific work of art is part of the Collages series. These collages are built with all kinds of photos, photos and images that I have collected over the years. I assemble original photography, assorted papers, acrylic, oil, charcoal, ink and pencil in my works. I have always enjoyed the look of weathered walls covered with peeling paint and old posters, and I relive this aesthetic with hopefully a sharp and professional eye. Technique: Print and Acrylic colors on canvas, textured Theme: typography / Textured / Cityscape / Urban /Modern Colors: White, Grey, Black, Pink, blue, green Colors quality: Amsterdam colors, high luminosity, without fading, non-toxic Packaging: Cardboard box, stable and safe. All of my paintings are original and one of a kind.

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I assemble original photography, assorted papers, acrylics, oil, charcoal, ink and pencil in my works. The variety of resources I am able to use has proved indispensable to me. The biggest challenge the collage medium posed was its unforgiving lack of transparency. Finding a way to replicate the effects of transparency afforded by paint, especially water colors, was “a large victory” for me . The preparing labor shows through in my collages; layer upon layer of material remains visible in the finished pieces. I believe my body of work is characterized by my skill for reinvention. Having always loved the appearance of weathered walls plastered with peeling paint and old posters, I revive this aesthetic with hopefully a keen and professional eye. The creative objective of my work is to “make something beautiful out of dilapidation.”My tableaus explore the dissonance between old and new materials, intertwined in the most beautiful possible way to create dreamlike and melancholy images.
