About The Artwork
This painting was inspired by a hundred-year-old sycamore tree in my backyard at my home in the Northeastern US. It also is reminiscent of a tree at my childhood home. I am hoping that this painting triggers a memory of the cooling shade and relief that a large tree can provide on a sunny day, and that the viewer can think of the longevity of nature's inspiration on our lives. This painting was made in an impressionist style with acrylic paint and soft/heavy mixing mediums on archival canvas, and the image is wrapped around all edges of the canvas for frameless hanging. Hanging hardware is not included. Painting will be professionally packed for shipment.
