This work is a series of images taken from ticket stubs, photos and other travel ephemera collected by the artist in countries such as Mozambique, Indonesia and the U.S. The images are screen printed onto panels from antique leather suitcases - some of which have original travel stickers.

Johnny studied fine art at Crawford College of Art and Design, Cork, Ireland and Aki Academy of Art & Design, Netherlands. He received a Masters in Fine Art Printmaking at Camberwell College of Art London. He has travelled widely and draws from a vast source of imagery and ephemera. He makes work in a variety of different media. His work is in a number of important collections including that of the National Gallery of Ireland in Dublin.
