About The Artwork

In an urban environment, I often imagine the buildings surrounded by rivers and movement. The movement of people and cars, the movement of stairs, roads and sidewalks, the movement of order and the grid of buildings. It's very static but also dynamic at the same time. Paris has its charm that may be a bit like other European capitals, but something about the fronts facades, colors, sounds and smells, the movement of people, the attention to design precision and not functionality, make it so special.

Roni Kotler is a figurative artist whose works are a processed and symbolic external expression of her inner and personal discourse, a discourse that undergoes a process of visual representation and presents to the world a new and complete creation, like a wrapped gift. Thus, the aesthetic and visual combine with the conceptual and symbolic, giving life to different thoughts, associations and feelings. Roni puts an emphasis on light and colors, as a rule that allow and invite a dialogue with the viewer and produce a feeling of freshness, intimacy and naivety, this alongside a more hidden layer.
