The picture was painted in 2011 under the influence of the story "Roadside Picnic" by the writers of the Arkady and Boris Strugatsky and painting "Geopoliticus Child Watching the Birth of the New Man" by Salvador Dali. There is a war on my land now, the book has nothing to do with military events. But this picture very well shows the human condition when there is a bombing in the city. Human is powerless, even crying will not help him. Concrete-iron structures that seemed to be reliable shelters crumble into many stones and fragments. There is a terrible sound and a disgusting smell. This must be what hell looks like. In the painting from 2011 year, I painted a collapsed building with the name "Republic" on the back right. February 24 was a fatal date for my country Ukraine, but also a fatal date for russia. February 24, 2022 is the beginning of the collapse of russia. Please do not forget that Ukraine has been at war for 200 days. Remember that by buying russian goods you unwittingly support the war. Picture was painted in 2011 85x90cm/ oil on canvas Signed on the front and back. Certificate of authenticity is included.
