This painting was inspired by the scene in The Sound of Music in which Julie Andrews as Maria sings the song "I Have Confidence." On the left side of the painting, the Chinese translates as "I have confidence in confidence itself," i.e., the lyric, "I have confidence in confidence alone." At the top, it reads, "Dame Julie Andrews" On the right side, it reads, "The happiest sound in all the world," one of the tag lines for the film. At the bottom is the Chinese title under which the film was released.
