About The Artwork
The painting "Prayer" was painted in Jerusalem. This is my mother in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. She lit candles and prayed for her children and grandchildren. Silence and light of candles in the temple, a prayer sounds somewhere. A monk in the background and the Virgin Mary behind him. The tranquility and peace in this holy place.

I work with oil painting technique that helps me express my feelings in color. Graphics and printmaking concisely express the philosophical and emotional meaning in the picture.
