I took a photograph of these swans at Prospect Park in Brooklyn, New York. Living in Brooklyn, this park becomes a magnet, a central location to reconnect with nature and decompress. Among other birds and fauna, it has a population of Mute Swans, which had become a target for the city because of their aggressive nature with competing waterfowl. An uproar ensued when the public learned of the extermination plans, and it seems they were spared.
