Cori Franchesca Co (Chesca Co or Cheese) b. 1990 is visual artist born and raised in Metro Manila. Her art practice formally started back in 2013 at the intersection of her studies in graphic design and painting. She has worked across different mediums such as painting, collage, installation, digital art, video and production design. She is currently focused on developing large scale abstract artworks that mirror the expanse of her psyche. The key aspect to her process is introspection -- carried out to the medium working as a record, a mirror, of either an experience, a dialogue, or a response. This approach allows the artist to develop a self-studied visual expression related to the similar "tether" that guides her movement within constraints and a state of madness.
