About The Artwork
Who am I? ..... I consist of many fragments, which over time have formed into a whole after a long journey across the seas. I have now become this living, sparkling, radiant whole of all my fragments. I am very grateful for that. Many are afraid of living their dreams. We often camouflage this fear by working hard, being busy all the time, or getting lost in our dramas. Our ego thinks that our dreams may be unrealistic or too big. But if we still manage to let our ego focus again and again on the engine of our life - our dreams - then we will feel that it fits and take off into another dimension that gives us joy, trust, happiness, humility, and brings a lot of gratitude. We should always be mindful of our path and watch out for miracles - they are suddenly there or always have been around us. My work of art is dedicated to the ocean and all people who love, appreciate and respect it. Where everything comes from and takes place - endlessly. I paint to recognize and express myself - that is my form of authenticity. I assimilate all my experiences in daily life by the way I express myself in painting. Painting gives me the opportunity to connect with the world. An authentic open attitude, the passion for working, my desires and dreams - as well as the connection with the music allow me to create my pictures without any previous idea. I rely on my feeling and my intuition. When painting, I feel connected to the whole - there are no limits. It is a form of dissolution as a single individual and a fusion with we call "ONE". I am deeply grateful for that. Nature, music and philosophy are my companions and inspiration. I mainly work with acrylic on canvas. For collages I use charcoal, chalk, colored pencil and some structure paste or paper.
