Ekorpes art, also known as "art pille", is a unique and unconventional trend in the world of contemporary art. It involves creating works, mainly paintings, using empty medicine blisters, which is not only an expression of artistic expression, but also a strong social and ecological commentary. Paintings created as part of ekorpes art are characterized by a unique structure and texture, which results from empty medicine packages glued to canvas or other surfaces. What at first glance may seem like a chaotic arrangement of colorful blisters becomes a symbol of social challenges related to the overuse of pharmaceuticals, consumerism and ecological problems related to excessive waste production. Creators of ekorpes art often use this unusual material to show the paradoxes of modern society, where, on the one hand, there is widespread availability of medicines, and on the other, the problem of pharmacological addictions and excessive consumption of chemical substances is growing. By placing empty blisters on the canvas, the artist evokes reflection on the health and social consequences associated with such behavior. Moreover, ekorpes art constitutes a strong ecological appeal, reminding us of the huge amount of waste generated by the pharmaceutical industry and the need to care for the natural environment. By transforming this waste into works of art, artists give them new life and give a voice to the problem of environmental pollution caused by plastic packaging. As a result, ekorpes art becomes not only a form of artistic expression, but also a form of social and ecological activism. Its aim is to raise awareness and provoke reflection on contemporary social and ecological challenges, while using unusual and inspiring materials, such as empty medicine blisters, to strengthen the artistic message.
