I saw my sandals in the sun after I took them off. I thought of the beautiful light that is all around me in Cabo. That's why I'm here, for the light and to paint paradise as I see it. I hope the viewer can feel how grateful I am to be in this light with my shoes off. The oil painting is museum wrapped with the edges painted black so it is ready to hang.
